If your home is built on a slab with little or no exposed pipe, then you can install the signal cable underground. The SB Elite and SB MAX Pro can be installed either indoors or outdoors. The SB-75 must be installed indoors.
Can I Install ScaleBlaster in My Attic?
It depends on how your attic is set up and configured. The ScaleBlaster electronic water descaler is a residential hard water solution that must be installed in a ventilated area that reaches temperatures no lower than 32 degrees or higher than 122 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do I Need to Add Another Outlet to Accommodate the Unit?
The ScaleBlaster electronic water descaler does not need a special outlet. If you do not have an outlet located near where it will be installed, you can use an extension cord. ScaleBlaster is UL and CUL approved.
