SB ELITE FOR WELL WATER
Amazing!!!! I installed it myself and it worked in just a few days. I used to get awful calcium/hard water build up on my dishes in the dishwasher and on all the faucets. It’s no longer an issue!!! No need for rinse aid or vinegar! Definitely buy it! Be sure to buy the correct one and buy from Home Depot to get the warranty. You can also call them and speak to a super friendly nice person!!

The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star… we have not had it in operation for over a week. Was simple to install .. instructions are very good. If you have questions they(the company) is QUICK to answer .. I am hoping it will do a great job just like they said. Am pleased with the answers I have received from the company ..

READ MY EXPERIENCE:
Live on a slate mountain, shallow well, tons of chemicals in water, even with a salt pellet filter, had to change hot water tank every 2 yrs! Tons blue scale every faucet! Even HD plumber didn’t know if product was OK. I was desperate. Had it 4-6 yrs, works phenomenal, barely see buildup. No more copper pipes literally splitting apart just tugging on them. Before, my kitchen faucet snapped right off in my hand when moved it! Ppl who didn’t like it maybe different chems maybe not installed right

I bought the Scale Blaster about a month ago. Im renting a home and my water is terrible, super hard, it was bad on my hair, calcium build ups around faucets, in my sink, bathtub, toilet bowl etc. I didn’t want to deal with water softener system installation, which I’ll have to eventually move with me and also there isnt really good place for it. Anyway, I was tired of all that and did a lot of research, the Scale Blaster sounded like it was exactly what I needed … if it worked. Read all the possible reviews on the internet, watched installation videos and decided to go for it and give it a try but I put it on a Home Depot credit card to extend the return policy. I felt it pretty much right away but wanted to wait a while before I do the review … didn’t want to jinx it lol. I LOVE IT! My hair is soft again! Sink is shiny, no white stains in my glassware! No build ups in my bathtub! It gives squeaky clean feeling on my skin when im taking a shower! Did some canning right before I installed it and some a month after, look at my jars! Oh! Almost forgot! I’m a 34 yr old single mom, recently had to start taking care of things around the house by myself and had no problems installing it! Less than an hour! So guys, quit your whining!

I bought this product and installed it the end of March so I don’t have the full testament as to how well it will work. I will say that the instructions are easy to follow and method I used made it even easier. Because this replaced an older water softener, all I had to do is re-plume the water loop. I used (2) Sharkbite connectors, one of which was a ball value and the other was a straight couple. I did sweat the two 90 degree fittings at the bottom of the new loop. The advantage I had doing the loop in this manor, no soldering of wet pipe. I was also able to wrap the wire around the pipe very tight because the new loop was off the wall and I added additional zip ties to hold this wire tight. The water to us seems to be okay.Our showers we take lather up fine and our skin seems soft and the dishes in the dishwasher come out clean. The big advantage right now, I don’t have to deal with salt any more.

We could see a difference after a couple of days…
We could see a difference after a couple of days with soap sudsing better than before. It’s been several weeks now and hard water deposits aren’t forming around faucet aerators and other such places anymore. Installation was easy on PVC pipe. The only challenge was counting the number of wraps around the pipe while my kitten was trying to play with any wire that dangled below.
