Our previous article discussed how the ScaleBlaster electronic water descaler is one of the most affordable and effective hard water treatment options for homeowners and businesses dealing with scale buildup on their evaporative air coolers. Today, we will take a closer look at a commercial operation that invested in ScaleBlaster to resolve the issues scale was causing on their evaporative air coolers.
The Phoenix Postal Distribution Center handles mail for the entire state of Arizona, distributing it to hundreds of post offices throughout the state. The building has 50 evaporative air coolers located on the roof. These air coolers are a lifeline for workers, especially during the extreme heat of summer. However, the cooler pads would rapidly accumulate scale, requiring time-consuming and costly maintenance to clean and replace the pads.
A ScaleBlaster SB-MAX was installed to help address the issue. The ScaleBlaster electronic water descaler not only prevents new scale from forming, but it is also effective at water scale removal/pipe scale removal. Management reported that within weeks, the deposits had noticeably washed away. After a few months, the limescale buildup on the cooler pads was resolved and there was no longer a need to clean and replace them as frequently, thus resulting in a significant time and costs savings.
If you are exploring hard water treatment options, we encourage you to give ScaleBlaster a try. It is an effective limescale eliminator and prevents new scale from forming, which is why so many businesses have installed this affordable, cost-saving solution. Industrial operations that rely on cooling tower biocide also benefit from reduced chemicals and maintenance costs.
