The ScaleBlaster SB-Max Pro is an electronic water descaler designed for larger homes and often sought by professionals who work with homeowners who need a residential hard water solution. It is unsurpassed as a hard water scale remover and is incredibly effective in preventing new limescale from forming.
The ScaleBlaster SB-Max Pro electronic water descaler works on copper, PVC, CPVC and PEX pipe. It can be used on homes up to 5,000 square feet for both indoor and outdoor installations. It is considered to be 60% more powerful than the SB-75 residential model, which is why it can handle calcium harness levels of up to 40 grains per gallon (gpg) or 684 parts per million (ppm).
It is important to note that with an electronic water descaler, the water hardness level and total dissolved solids will remain the same. This is because ScaleBlaster is a water conditioner, not a water softener. Water softeners remove calcium from the water. ScaleBlaster does not. Calcium is good for the metabolism, so removing it has no benefit.
ScaleBlaster is an effective hard water scale remover that does not rely on salt or chemicals. It dissolves the scale, so in cases of heavy buildup, initial pipe scale removal may take some time. The good news is that in addition to being a hard water scale remover, ScaleBlaster is extremely effective in limescale prevention.
If you are a professional who is seeking to find an effective residential hard water solution for your customers, we can help. The SB-Max Pro is available through our USA and international dealers.
